The Generals Arms is a pub and restaurant situated in the heart of Little Baddow, Chelmsford. A common meeting place for local residents, horse riders and walkers, The Generals Arms is a cosy village pub with a warm atmosphere and welcoming, hospitable staff. The Bar

A welcoming place for a quick drink or for the customer who wishes to stay, relax and unwind. There is a wide range of draft lager, cask ales, wines, spirits and beverages to be enjoyed up at the bar or in our comfortable seating areas. Light snacks and main meals can be ordered and eaten in the bar area. Dogs are also welcome in the bar, but not in the restaurant.

Our restaurant area where customers can enjoy their meals in a relaxing and welcoming environment. The restaurant offers a friendly and reliable service where staff try their very best to satisfy the customers needs. In the colder months our central open log fire helps keep you warm and create a cosy atmosphere.

The Garden

There is easy access to our garden from the bar and restaurant where meals and drinks can be consumed. We have a large, secure garden with plenty of seating, umbrellas, garden games and a large play area for children. Look out for our summer BBQ events!
